Dr. Martin offers courses in general chemistry and inorganic chemistry, and serves as the Chemistry Department member on the "Revolutions in Science" team in the Moravian Core Curriculum. His research interests include electron transfer reactions of vitamin B-12 analogs, titanium III reductions of substituted pyrazines, and chemical education. He has served as the chair of the Lehigh Valley section of the American Chemical Society and is currently the co-coordinator of its TEACHEM organization, which provides a forum for discussion of joint classroom concerns among area high school and college faculty. In addition, he is the faculty advisor to the Moravian College American Chemical Society student affiliate chapter and the Moravian College Equestrian Club.
